About Dr. Ahmed

Dr. Zaheer Ahmed completed his residency at Carney Hospital, Boston,  a major affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine in 1994. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has more than two decades of experience in Internal Medicine, both inpatient and outpatient care, Critical care and Geriatric care. He has been in private practice since 1994. His patients age ranges from 18 years to 100+ years! His special interests include diseases of the heart, lungs, gastrointestinal system, diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Ahmed is a member of American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and board member of APPNE.

Dr. Ahmed believes in treating his patients with respect and kindness. He believes patient concerns deserve compassion and understanding.

He believes in developing a relationship with his patients and work together to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

All patients are examined and treated by Dr. Ahmed ONLY. He is affiliated with Lowell General Hospital.
